Much of the timber used is windfallen from local woodlands, cut to planks using our own sawmill or hand worked to retain the curve. Sometimes a client will have their own fallen tree which can be milled on site, the timber used to create truly bespoke and site specific pieces.

Brooks Furniture works with metal, glass and stone to compliment the wood, perhaps adding a straight line to juxtapose the organic. Hinges, latches and detailed metalwork where required are made by our local Blacksmith. Brooks Furniture have worked with Oak, Chestnut, Elm Western Red Cedar, forged steel, copper, glass and stone.
