The business was founded by Ed Brooks and his father David in 1999, responding to a lack of truly bespoke furniture from English sourced timber.
is a Chartered Landscape Architect with 10 years experience of designing streets, parks and public open spaces.

David has 30 years experience of high quality construction and house building, carpentry and forestry. Recently interested in Oak and Chestnut timber framing.

Alex has trained as an apprentice to a furniture maker and has adapted theses skills to the pieces you see on these pages

Marion runs the business from behind the scenes and is often the first point of call for clients.

Ed divides his time between a landscape architecture company in London and his Dorset workshop, in Wootton Fitzpaine, near Lyme.
